• Read sections 4.1-4.5 in the textbook. (You may also find 4.6, 4.7, and/or 4.8
interesting.) Do exercises 1, 8, and 10 at the end of Chapter 4 (section 4.9).
• Read Chapter 5 in the textbook. Do problems 3 and 4 at the end of Chapter
5 (section 5.5).
• Read sections 8.1, 8.2, and 8.4 in the textbook. Do problems 1 and 3 at the
end of Chapter 8 (section 8.8).
